Q&A with Great Wolf Applicant

GGS has been given the opportunity to hear directly from the Great Wolf applicant and ask questions. The City and Great Wolf are in the middle of an exploratory period during which both parties will outreach to the community to gauge the concerns. This is the time to ask hard questions and get information.

Neither the applicant nor the City has made a decision about locating in Gilroy, though this could happen in October.  If both decide to pursue coming to Gilroy, then a formal application would be submitted and an Environmental Impact Report created next year.  We will hear this item at 7:00 PM and go to the rest of our agenda afterwards.

Contact us if you have any questions, comments, or concerns. Please subscribe to our newsletter (at right or below). Let's keep Gilroy healthy and beautiful!

The members of the Housing Panel are:
• Jim Heid, President and Founder of Urban Green, Moderator
• Alex Sanchez, Executive Vice President of ROEM Development Corporation.
• Joe Head, President of SummerHill Land.
